Angelique Tenorio, LCSW
Growing up in the small town of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, I learned early on the value of community and meaningful connection. For the past ten years, I've called Albuquerque home, where I've had the privilege of serving our community in a variety of roles, from the legal field to providing mental health services.
I am especially passionate about working with children and adolescents. I believe that early intervention and preventative care are powerful investments—not only in the lives of young people but in the future of our communities. Together, we can build emotional awareness, strengthen healthy coping skills, foster resilience, encourage empathy, and empower young people to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work (2019) and Master of Social Work (2022) from New Mexico Highlands University. Social work and therapy have always held a special place in my heart because I have the opportunity to witness people discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and grow into the version of themselves they want to become.
As your therapist, I'll be there to support, encourage, and challenge you along the way—but the real work belongs to you. One of the most rewarding parts of therapy is watching clients recognize their own resilience and celebrate the progress they've worked so hard to achieve.
If you're looking for a therapist who values authenticity, enjoys a good laugh, loves music, and can appreciate all things pop culture, you've come to the right place. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.
